Magna Cafe has fast become somewhat of an institution in Marbella on the Costa del Sol. Situated at Magna Marbella Golf it has an enviable location with amazing views of the golf courses, mountains and the sea.
Here's what Neil Waller of www.marbellainfo.com had to say about Magna Cafe:
The Magna Cafe is a very exciting venue with stunning views, an inviting ambience and a really exciting menu. Its the sort of menu where you just cant decide what to have, you'll see something straight off and think excellent I'll have that, browse down, see the other options and change your mind again. Its impossible to choose because it all sounds so good.
To start I had the whitefish roe with creme fraiche and red onion, it tasted amazing. I was with three fellow diners and each of their dishes looked equally as good, prawns pil pil, carpaccio, melon and parma ham.
For mains I had the entrecote with aromatic butter which was equisite. Also on the menu for mains was lamb cutlets, numerous fish dishes and for the more experimental the Magna Cafe special 'Africana' curry with bananas, peanuts and exotic fruit, which I've heard good things about but it was too hard choosing it over a good steak. I'll come back and try it next time.
Magna Cafe has a great dining terrace that offers some fantastic views of Gibraltar and the Med in the day and the lights of the coast at night. The restaurant also has an impressive wine cellar that allows you to buy any of the wine on their wine list if you enjoyed it during the meal. They also have some quality ports which i rate and Jamon Iberico legs.
No doubt Magna Cafe is sure to keep customers returning time and time again. Not just for its location and surroundings but mainly for its excellent food.
